BioAnything you want to know about my psyche, take a look at the character of Jet (the guy in my icon) in the anime series "Cowboy Bebop," particularly Session 10: Ganymede Elegy. Actually, I'm more like Ishmael in "Moby Dick," maybe with some Ahab thrown in. Or, if you prefer, I'm Ben Hanscom from Stephen King's "It." Dave Eggers' personification of himself in "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" works pretty well, too, and in my darker moments I definitely resemble Heathcliff in "Wuthering Heights." I try not to be Harold Lauder, and when I'm lucky and strong I can even pull out a moment of pure Atticus Finch, or at least Josh Lyman. I hate the Underground Man in myself, but I embrace the Bruce Wayne. There's a lot of Edmund Tyrone in me, and maybe not quite enough Samwise Gamgee. And we all could use, I think, a little more Huckleberry Finn.
